Shanghai Waigaoqiao Port, located at Waigaoqiao in Pudong New Area in Shanghai, is a part of Shanghai Port. It lies about 7 kilometers east to Wu Song Port and 30 kilometers from Shanghai city center. Every year, there are more than 100 international cruise ships are expected to stop by Shanghai. Ships which are larger than 87,000 tons can’t get to Shanghai Port International Cruise Terminal because of the low bridge on Huangpu River, and then they will have to berth at Waigaoqiao Cruise Terminal. Waigaoqiao International Cruise Terminal can handle four cruise ships at the same time. People can go to Podong Airport, Hongqiao Airport and Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station from Waigaoqiao International Cruise Terminal by taxi.
